My name is Wendy.
Think of me as the face of CityCrowd. I have wanted to set up
a completely FREE (thats a promise) and safe online networking site
for quite a while now, With the help of my friends it's finally
here. I’m very excited !
I have created four different areas within CityCrowd.com -DateCrowd,
LoveCrowd, SocialCrowd
and CareerCrowd.
We all know there are many routes to romance. These extra dimensions
will allow you to increase the opportunity to meet Mr Right or Ms
Right through extending your networking contacts.
As a woman, I have been a member of various online ‘dating’
sites over the years, whether it was just to make friends, or network
for different reasons, and all of them said that they were free
sites – until you signed up, and then all they wanted were
your dollars. My site is not like that, most definitely not. I wouldn’t
want anything to do with a site that was only interested in your
money. I want a site where everything is free for members, where
everyone is free to use all the features it offers.
Also, as a member of some other sites, I found that sooner or later
I was not feeling at all safe as a member. It could be because of
unwanted attention from other members – mainly aggressive
male members – or also because of the attention (or lack of)
from the site mediators. For CityCrowd, I want everyone, female
and male, to be comfortable knowing that when they email me, they
are contacting a real person, not a machine, and that I will get
back to them as soon as I can.
The community I want to set up on CityCrowd must be respectful
to each and every person. I will have no problem in deleting someone’s
profile if they do not meet the guidelines in respecting other members.
I will not accept any harassment of our members, so please contact
me if you have issues or ever encounter any problems.
Since we’re just setting CityCrowd up now, not all of the
features that we have planned are up and running yet. I promise
you, they will be coming, bit by bit. And if we don’t have
something you think we should, email me with any suggestions.
